Anthems For The Young At Heart

This was my very first album, released in 1999.  I was delighted to have my first album released by Ninthwave Records in the United States.  Three cheers for David Richards!  This was a VERY modest debut.  I recorded it in my old bedroom in my parent’s suburban home.  I was in my mid 20s when I wrote most of these songs, and that’s pretty obvious when you listen to the songs.  It shows where my head was at….at that time going out and spending a night dancing in a night club was very important to me.  Over a decade later, I still get e-mails from people all over the world telling me how much they love these songs.  It’s crazy to think that these tunes (which were mostly recorded on reel to reel and cassette 4 track with an outdated drum machine and a primitive Poly 800)would go on to be so positively received around the world!

This CD, along with “Another Coin In The Daydream Machine”, was re-released digitally by Ninthwave a few years ago.
